Routes to Registered Membership
Choose the route that best reflects how you have developed your OH expertise. There are three pathways.
Route 1 — Educational Achievement (Fastest Route)
For Standard ACPOHE Members who have completed a Masters‑level Certificate, Diploma or MSc in a relevant work and health subject from a UK university that meets ACPOHE’s approval.

Route 2 — Short Courses and Case Study Route
For Standard ACPOHE Members who have developed advanced OH expertise through practice.
Members will need to complete 4 ACPOHE courses which must include:
- Occupational Health Essentials Course(Modules 1-9)
- Introduction to Applied Ergonomics
Members must also submit one case study to demonstrate their work in the field

Route 3 — In Depth Case Studies Assignment Route
This route is for Standard ACPOHE Members who have developed their knowledge and skills in occupational health and ergonomics through their work and personal development activities but have not have undertaken university accredited courses or ACPOHE courses
Members will need to submit 2 in depth case studies. One should be in their field of expertise and the other in another area of the discipline to demonstrate their working knowledge across the specialty.
